Ways your  $$  helps

We have no idea the pace or order in which God is going to allow us to move forward with this vision.  He may move us forward in small increments, or He may bless us with a huge leap forward.  All we can do is our best to be attentive to when and how He is moving, and to be obedient when He presents us with an opportunity to move forward.  That said, here is our wish list for what we feel will be needed to make “A City Not Forsaken” the haven and blessing that we truly believe God intends it to be.

– A minimum of 75 acres which will contain:

– Separate recovery and transition dorms for men and women, each with

• • Common areas, such as laundry facilities, a TV room, a dining room, etc.
  • A small commercial kitchen
  • Grounds/Courtyards
  • Exercise/Weight rooms

– A chapel

– An administration building with offices and classrooms

Eventually we would love to also designate spaces for:

• • Gardens and greenhouses
  • Raising livestock
  • Facilities for some types of vocational training such as a vehicle shop, a woodshop, metal shop, etc.
  • Possibly even a small market or country store on or off the property
