Going Beyond in Work
“Put God in charge of your work, then what you’ve planned will take place.” Proverbs 16:3
Welcome to My Work World!
The Cleaning Company
“Whatever your hands find to do, do it with all your might. For there is no work, no thought, no knowledge, and no wisdom in death” Ecclesiastes 9:10

Full Circle
My work, my faith, and my life are all parts of who I am, therefore they all intermingle. Most of us spend the better part of our day at work, that’s why I have chosen to make my work my ministry. The key for me is allowing these three areas to be well balanced and flowing together because that’s what make me me. There’s not a dividing line separating one area from the other, it’s more like a circle for me.

The Art of Cleaning
Cleaning is an art! Anyone can do it, but to do it with excellence your eyes have to be drawn to the simplest, smallest detail. Much like the artist who paints, taking every brush stroke into consideration, that’s how cleaning is to me. I notice the slight streak at the base of the mirror, the invisible finger print on the light plate cover, the soap film on the edge of the dish, and even the water spot on the corner of the floor hidden by the overhang of the cabinet. Like the eye of the artist that can tell the difference between shades of green that my eye wouldn’t see. Doing what you love is your art!

How we Started
When your only choice is to jump, you jump. I experienced a job layoff and a failed marriage in the same year. It was truly the leading of Holy Spirit that started the business, and we grew one office at a time, one house at a time, and then one employee at a time. It’s my nature to want things fast, but looking back, we grew God’s way and at God’s pace. The business is His and He has used me to help so many women and families. I am truly humbled to be His servant.
Work along with Faith
100%
“Not so fast. You can no more show me your works apart from your faith than I can show you my faith apart from my works. Faith and works, works and faith, fit together hand in glove.” James 2:18
MarketPlace Ministry
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, Knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. Colossians 3:23-24

In Genesis chapter 1 God created, divided, gathered together, brought forth, was fruitful, and caused multiplication. He called this “work” in Gen 2:3 when He rested. We have been given the same charge: to be fruitful and multiply. God created work and our work can be a form of worship unto Him, if we allow it to be.

We have been made in the image of a God whose creative power is unlimited. We all have a purpose here on this earth to use our gifts, talents, and passions as a way to create financial means in our lives. God created us with the pleasure to “get” to work not, “have” to work.

There are many ways you can use your profession as your ministry. Pay attention to those around you. Watch and listen for ways to meet a need in someone’s life. Pray openly with those willing. Pray privately with those that aren’t. Be positive. Be transparent and honest with others about how you deal with daily struggles. There are countless ways to be Jesus to those around us.
